Include your iPhone model, iOS version, app version, and the steps that led to the problem. If you attach a screenshot, remove private phrases or other sensitive information first.

Add and edit phrases

Tap the globe to choose the first and second languages. Tap + to add a phrase and its translation, then Save. Tap a saved phrase to edit it. Cancel leaves the saved phrase unchanged. Both the phrase and translation need text before you can save.

Find and arrange your phrases

Use the search control in the bottom toolbar. Search matches the original, translation, and romanization, ignoring case and accents. To reorder, clear search, tap Edit, and drag a row handle. The app saves your order.

Switch languages

Each direction has a separate list. English to Spanish and Spanish to English show different entries. If a phrase seems to be missing, check the selected language pair and clear your search. Changing an existing phrase’s languages moves it to that pair’s list.

Get a translation suggestion

On a physical iPhone, enter a phrase and pause briefly. A supported language pair can produce a translation suggestion. First use may ask you to download language packs. If a suggestion is unavailable, enter a translation manually. Your manual edits are preserved; clear the translation field to resume suggestions.

Hear a translation

Tap the speaker next to a saved phrase. Check device volume and the voices installed for that language if playback is unavailable. Tapping another phrase replaces the current speech. The app does not need microphone access.

Use romanization

A romanization field appears for languages that use a non-Latin script. You can accept, correct, or replace the suggested reading. Script conversion does not always produce the intended pronunciation, particularly when meaning depends on context.

Use the app offline

Saved phrases, search, editing, and ordering work locally. Translation and speech depend on language packs and voices available on your device; downloads need an internet connection.

Delete phrases and manage your data

Swipe left on a phrase, or use Edit, to delete it. There is no in-app undo or restore service. Your phrases are stored locally, and the app does not provide its own backup or sync service. Deleting the app can remove its collection. Device backups are managed separately in your Apple settings.
